Queering Leadership

As a queer (/femme) identified woman, there are so many benefits I get from being a part of a larger conversation about feminism and sisterhood and I'm so grateful to be a part of Lean In! There is also specific things that are unique to queer gender/feminism that are not always looked at - the ways that gender dynamics in the world place impact us, the ways we learn to lead coming from LGBTQ culture, what feminism looks like when ones gender is more masculine or androgynous, intentionally femme, transgendered, and so forth. I would like to create a space that explores having a supportive, empowering and feminism leadership group that talks about power and gender while also incorporating intersectional queer tones/complexity. Curious and excited to see how this proposed group resonates and hope you will be interested in joining!
