There’s power in women coming together
At the heart of Lean In’s global community are Circles: small groups of women who come together regularly to support each other. And right now, we’re leaning on each other more than ever.
What are Circles all about?
Leaning in is not a solo sport. In a world where women still face gender bias and other barriers at work, Circles are a safe space to share our experiences, build each other up, and cheer each other on. Whether you need help navigating your new normal at work or are looking for support from women who understand what you're going through, your Circle will be there for you.
If you’d like to experience what being part of a Lean In Circle is all about, attend an Open Circle Meeting.Attend an Open Circle Meeting
How Circles work
Whether your Circle is made of friends, co-workers, or women you’ve met in our community, you’ll soon have a tight knit support group to guide you through your career and through life. Many Circles have been meeting for over five years!
Circles usually meet once a month at any time that works for the group. Meetings can happen in person or virtually, and right now most Circles are meeting over Zoom.
We provide free meeting guides and resources to prompt group discussion and help you learn new skills together. Every meeting closes by committing to One Action—one thing you’ll do to step outside your comfort zone or learn a new skill before your next meeting.
Interested? Try an Open Circle Meeting
Come (virtually) meet us and experience what a Circle is like. You’ll join a Zoom call with women from around the world and break out into small groups to connect and share. From juggling work and home life to coping with job loss, this space is an opportunity to speak openly about the challenges you’re facing and swap strategies for overcoming them. If you’re interested in joining or starting your own Lean In Circle afterwards, we’ll help you get started and connect you with Circles in your area.See Upcoming Open Circle Meetings
We’re all in different places around the world dealing with different dynamics. We talked about what we’re going through and it was nice to hear about what we’re all doing to cope.
Starting your own Circle
