Our Lean In peer mentoring group allows both female and male service members of all ranks, along with DoD and contract civilians to come together to share experiences, advice and support one another in overcoming professional challenges in the workplace. Lean in Circles are creating invaluable networks to share information across services and locations. Here at Wounded Warrior Battalion West, the circle enables members to have a safe, confidential place to explore gender differences and topics critical to success, personal growth and ongoing professional development. In support of Lean In Circles, Department of Defense (DoD) encourages Lean In Circles to meet regularly, for reasonable duration before, during, or after work hours and may make reasonable use of DOD spaces such as conference rooms, meeting areas, and break rooms.
