Women in Business: Samui/Tao/KPG

Hi guys! Christina here :) Welcome to LeanIn - a network for female entrepreneurs and businesswomen. I am very proud to say that I will now be running a group for us here on Samui/Phangan/Tao. Please have a read of what I’ve written below, and if it resonates with you, I can’t wait to see where we can take this. #WeAreStrongerTogether __________________________ LEAN IN: SAMUI / TAO / KPG Celebrate . Encourage . Inspire This is a group for female businesswomen and entrepreneurs, or aspiring female entrepreneurs on Samui or in the surrounding areas. On a small island in particular, it’s important to support each other. Maybe one person has a great space for meeting up in, maybe somebody else has experience in a certain area that another doesn’t. We all have unique skills, and we can share them, and get as much back as we give out - if not more! WHO ARE WE? We want be inspired by each other, and inspire each other. We are a group of women who want to learn from the entrepreneurial journeys of others, and share the knowledge that we’ve picked up along the way setting up and running our own businesses. This is a network of women who want to encourage each other, and celebrate each other’s successes. To be better, together. Your female peers should not be your enemy, they should be your support network, your inspiration, and that boost you need when you’re feeling exhausted, down, lost, or simply in need of ideas or advice from an outside party. We will have have a Facebook group, as well as meetings, lunches, and talks where we can share our stories, ask questions, and collectively bring our unique strengths together. Each meeting, one woman will share her entrepreneurial journey - the struggles, the hurdles, and how she overcame them. These meetings can be in a cafe, at someone’s house - wherever! The most important thing is that it is an arena where we can share and learn from each other in a judgement-free environment. The Facebook group will be where events are posted, and where women can reach out to other like-minded women. Sometimes the world of a female entrepreneur can be overwhelming, stressful, and isolating. You are not alone. #WeAreStrongerTogether
