Leaning In

Lean In is a club dedicated to gender equality and the support of foundations working towards this goal worldwide. Each month we will have a “mission of the month”, whether it be Education, Athletics, or even a Male Month, in which we’ll dedicate ourselves to fundraising and raising awareness of prominent problems facing women and men in these areas. We’ll volunteer at the local Women’s shelter, HIV clinic, or Children’s Hospital to support the efforts of these institutions, and hold drives to donate much needed supplies to their doors. This club is nonexclusive, so we’ll do everything in our power to raise male support for gender equality as well, including supporting the HeforShe campaign originally developed by Emma Watson. Through fundraising and support, we hope to make a difference in the community on the basis of gender equality.
