Lean In Long Term Unemployed

This is a circle for women who have been out of work for some time (typically over a year), and want to support- and gain support from- other women in the same situation. Women who aren't unemployed, but would like to support us are very welcome too. Being long-term unemployed can be rough. At one time or another we may have experienced feelings of guilt, anger, disappointment, shame, hopelessness... Maybe we've had to cut out the 'noise' from well-meaning friends and family, to cultivate a half decent frame of mind. There's nothing like hearing from someone who's "been through it" (or indeed, someone who is sympathetic!). Let's share tips, 'network', and support and motivate each other. This is a safe space where no-one will be judged.
