Latinas in Hi High Higher Ed

This is a circle created for Latinas walking through the highest level of education ever in our families. High school wasn't enough for us, our AAs and BAs were for our families, and now our MAs or Doctorals are for us. The name reflects our journey. “Higher” celebrates the bold step into graduate and doctoral programs where many of us are leading the way for our families and future generations. This space was created because online programs can feel lonely. Discussion boards don’t always feel real, and many of us are balancing school, work, family, and life without a strong circle that truly understands what this path looks like for Latinas. We come together to share resources, ideas, encouragement, and real conversation — and yes, even plan fun study dates or meet-ups when we can. Most of all, this circle exists to help us grow our confidence as women who were bold enough to keep going and brave enough to believe that we belong in these spaces.
