To create a new group of leaders that will inspire another group to be leaders and so on. If leaders focus solely on the Business level, the needs of the employees on the Human level will not be met, and this may get in the way of their ability to understand and respond positively to what you are saying. Develop the human side of leadership. This is the key to building trust and demonstrating respect. The Human side of this equation satisfies the person’s need for attention, courteous treatment, and acceptance of their viewpoints. Great leaders possess certain skills and demonstrate the characteristics that create an environment where employees want to perform.
“Leadership is about making others better as a result of your presence and making sure that impact lasts in your absence." Sheryl Sandberg, Lean In, 2014
