Our mission
We will focus on enabling learnings that increase our ability to exhibit courage in the workplace environment by: informing our personal development plans; building on behaviors and actions we can role model to others; understanding ways we can advocate for ourselves, and others. We will challenge ourselves to create content and engage in discussion that supports learnings that are actionable from whatever seat we are in today.
Our circle name is inspired by Theodore Roosevelt’s “The Man in the Arena”. How do we show up with courage, determination and authenticity as we enter the arena that is the workplace? What learned experiences have created barriers for us? How can we share those experiences and the lessons learned in an effort to elevate one another? I look forward to sparking thoughtful, constructive, passionate, honest and vulnerable debate and discussion that leads to action, so we can be forge ourselves as “The Women in the Arena”.
Networks connect groups of Circles and individuals that share a common location, company, affinity, industry, or interest area.
We’re always looking for new members. Join today to be a part of Lean In’s global community.
Circles are small groups of women who come together—online or offline—for real talk and peer support.
We all need a safe space for real talk, inspiration, and support. Right now, we need community more than ever.
