Our mission
Our mission is to support Latinas in master’s and doctoral programs by creating a space rooted in comunidad, honesty, and encouragement. We gather to remind one another that we are not alone, that our experiences are valid, and that we are strong enough to keep going — together.
Latinas in Hi High Higher Ed is a community for Latinas pursuing master’s and doctoral degrees, especially in online programs where the journey can feel lonely. Aquí nos entendemos. We’re balancing school, work, family, and sueños, often while being the first in our families to take this path. This space is about real connection, not just discussion posts. We come together to share resources, ideas, encouragement, and honest conversation, and yes, even plan cafecito study dates or meet-ups when we can. On the hard days, we lean on one another.
