The Barcelona International LeanIn chapter is for women and men who are part of the Barcelona international community either through professional or personal endeavors and believe in supporting Diversity and Inclusion within our community in particular focusing on gender and encouraging women to LeanIn in all walks of life. Our Chapter believes in empowering all our members to LeanIn and to give back to the community and our society as a whole. The chapter encourages members to create LeanIn circles that meet monthly and through peer support encourage members to achieve their goals and dreams and to give back to the community. The chapter will meet quarterly and organize events with workshops, speakers, presentations and events to empower our LeanIn chapter members to make an impact in their own personal and professional environments This chapter is English speaking but all nationalities, languages, genders are welcome and encouraged to join! The chapter is founded by Zara English who has been living and working in Barcelona for over 10 years. Having created the first LeanIn Circle in Barcelona a few years ago she gained a lot of interest and through her work as an international Head hunter specializing in Diversity. She has a young daughter and created the LeanIn chapter during her maternity leave!
