Our vision is to build a global community of remote employees united by a common purpose - to make Salesforce an inspiring place to work. Our goal is to accelerate the leadership and development of women who work outside of a Salesforce office, while celebrating inclusion, diversity and equality for all. Women's Network@Home Guiding Principles: Meet Together: When you have the support and encouragement of a trusted group, you can reach for your goals with more confidence. We will set a regular cadence of online meetings. These will be open to all (men and women) who are interested in learning and sharing within a virtual environment. Share Together: We're all are about encouraging each other and learning from each other’s experiences and ideas. We benefit from everyone’s best thinking. We will establish an approach that encourages sharing and learning from each other’s experiences using teleconferencing and video capabilities to engage our global remote community. FY17 Topics will be aligned with the Lean In book chapters, however, monthly discussions can focus on supporting topics, guest speakers, or any other supporting “pre-work” that helps us learn and grow. Learn Together: By making learning a priority, our members will gain useful skills working through topics as a virtual group. The concept of bringing these development opportunities to front of mind will allow all us to explore, learn and grow in our careers.
