Sponsorship is necessary for women, it benefits emerging female leaders and their organizations. Women acting as "Catalysts" for other women open doors for women, they provide access to bring their talents to light. Women have been criticized for self promoting, sponsorship gets their name on the table, opportunities for key assignments and exposure in the community. This group will work with and identify opportunities to help one another and provide that 'hand up' that is so often not afforded between women.
