Our mission
Women of Sheffield Steel exists to forge the next generation of women leaders in Sheffield and South Yorkshire; creating a space where honest conversation, shared experience and mutual challenge help each member grow into the leader she's becoming.
Women of Sheffield Steel is a Lean In Circle for women who are stepping into leadership; whether you've just taken on your first management role, been earmarked as a future leader, or are in that stretch between the professional you were and the leader you're becoming. Sheffield has always forged strong women. This circle is a space to bring that out. We meet once per month (in person and online) to think out loud, share what's really going on, challenge each other's thinking, and find solid ground with honest conversation with women who are experiencing leadership growth too. The circle is free to join and open to women across Sheffield and South Yorkshire. Becky Travis-Booker is a coach, director of Leading Beyond, and your circle leader.
