About our Circle

  • Looking for members

Women in BBC Sport is an informal network set up to focus on the female staff across BBC Sport. The network seeks to bring women across the department together in order for them to meet one another, share knowledge, experience and best practice. We want them to be inspired and learn from one another and external speakers, be motivated and give and receive advice and support. We aim to: To provide a channel of communication on issues of importance and interest. To provide a safe space in which to share experiences, opportunities and ideas. To offer a place of mutual support. To establish working groups to explore issues and recommend changes if we would like to. To build confidence and assertiveness of women in BBC Sport To raise awareness and provide a forum for the discussion on a variety of issues. To have fun together!

How it works

Circles are small groups of women who come together—online or offline—for real talk and peer support.

Why join a Circle?

We all need a safe space for real talk, inspiration, and support. Right now, we need community more than ever.
