Cal Poly WISH (Women Involved in Software and Hardware) hosts a Lean In circle once or twice an academic quarter to provide support and a safe environment in which to discuss challenges/experiences of being a woman in tech. Past topics have included: 1) the power of body language/confidence 2) privilege: what it is and how (not) to use it 3) the effects of Miley Cyrus (and other celebrities) on feminism 4) perceptions of male leaders vs female leaders We meet on Cal Poly's campus, and anyone is welcome to attend!
