We have a largely younger work-force at JPM. For many, it’s a first job or the first time in an office environment. We also have some people at the other end of the spectrum who may be settled in their lives and careers or even looking towards retirement. In a safe environment these 2 groups [of women] can learn a great deal from one another. The goal is: 1. to make a time and place for [women] professionals to gather, share stories of triumphs or hardships, personal or professional, where everyone feels respected, safe and valued 2. to learn from one another, share experiences to gain knowledge 3. to create beneficial working/professional relationships 4. to learn the skills we need to a. mature professionally b. grow personally c. build trust Overall, to gain insight into professionalism, and foster an environment of collaboration and empowerment.
