https://sue-lynnwood.com/ Sue Lynn Wood, her husband, and their cherished cat Ruffy live in Valdez, Alaska. She was raised in Clark County, Washington, after being born in Portland, Oregon. The couple moved to Valdez in 1999 because they were drawn to Alaska. The alias "Sue Lynn Wood" honors three generations of women in her maternal family. She is excited to retire next year and is currently employed full-time at the local electric utility as a proud member of IBEW 1547. Sue was inspired by recent changes in her life to share her poetry in order to honor her true self. The Phoenix Butterfly metaphor represents her writing debut, and this anthology honors her path of self-discovery and artistic expression.
