2 years ago my friend and I launched Uspaah, an on demand beauty app in London which could be described as the Uber for anything spa related! The journey we've been on has been one we could never have anticipated, its been gruelling and thrilling all at once but what has been interesting for me is how it has benefitted my day job as a Sales Director. I'm regularly invited to join start up events where I've met prospects such as Deliveroo, Monzo, HSBC to name but a few. I feel I'm immersed in a world which ensures I keep my finger on the pulse in terms of latest technologies and future thinking. I'm asked to speak at events such as Glamour Italia's conference in Milan...the list goes on. I used to feel like perhaps I shouldn't share my out of work stuff with colleagues but since joining Convergys I've been overwhelmed by the support of my boss and I'm also super excited when I hear the amazing ventures others are getting involved in, such one fellow Sales Director buying an alpaca farm! How awesome right?! I'm therefore delighted to launch this circle to share, inspire and learn from each other. Once there are a few of us on I'll set a call for us to kick off!
