Our mission
We explore new skills together that help us to work towards leading peaceful change, shaping our communities to foster virtues of collaboration, relationship building, inclusion, diversity, reconciliation, and rewriting the narrative of leadership in terms of collaboration and conflict resolution rather than competition and conflict.
The Lean in Circle for Women in Peace Leadership is meant to bring women together to explore tools, skills, and resources that can help them to build on their peace leadership skills. It is meant to support women in their constant efforts to navigate the difficult terrain of balancing womanhood( expected gendered role from society) and the idea of leadership with a focus on fostering peace and collaboration, making the most out of what they have to step into the community and be the change in their own unique ways. Peace Leadership is about balance and holistic growth. This circle offers the space for women to find themselves while learning to keep that balance and grow personally, professionally, and creatively.
