About our Circle

  • Looking for members

Navigating Neva is a podcast dedicated to water safety and swimming education, hosted by Neva Nicole, a seasoned aquatics professional with over two decades of experience and an accomplished author of several books. Neva's journey began in 1999 when she earned her Lifeguard Certification, followed by a YMCA Swim Instructor Certification in 2000. Her passion for teaching swimming spans all age groups, with a special focus on adults, preschoolers, and individuals overcoming water-related fears and phobias. Through her podcast and books like I Can Put My Face in the Water and Swim with Me Cards, Neva offers practical, step-by-step guidance on swimming techniques, layers of protection, drowning prevention, CPR in emergencies, and self-teaching methods. Each resource empowers individuals to embrace swimming with confidence, equipping them with essential skills to stay safe in aquatic environments.
