At Schneider Electric, we have set three main targets to improve gender diversity and inclusion. 1) Our first target is to establish a dedicated executive-level group to drive towards gender parity across Schneider. Todate, we have 40+ country presidents who have signed and pledged to support our initiatives (100% of country presidents for East Asia and Japan including Singapore). Schneider Electric has also established the Schneider Electric Women’s Advisory Board (WAB). The WAB comprises 11 senior leaders (8 women, 3 men) and is sponsored by our Executive Committee and CEO. The board oversees our global diversity and inclusion program. 2) Our second commitment is to increase the gender diversity of our workforce as we believe that a diverse team drives the best product design, services and solutions, customer experience and business decisions for the company. Our goal is to increase the representation of women across our talent pipeline to 40% ; with a target of 30% of our leadership positions represented by women. To date we are proud to share that 33.3% of our leadership in Singapore is female. Finally, our 3rd commitment is to reach a global target of 85% (150,000 employees) of the workforce with salary equity by the end of 2017. In Singapore, we had attained this target in 2015. Our global attainment in 2016 was 73%. We are confident that globally we are on track to achieve 85% pay equity by the end of 2017.
