Mission In a predominantly male dominated tech world, we could use more diverse skills and talents from females! We want to inspire and encourage women to make an impact in the tech world through a mentorship program for non-engineering roles like sales, marketing, product and customer success and engineering roles like developers, programmers, and engineers. (can we think of a way to define the non-engineering group by what they are instead of what they aren’t? maybe we just delete “non-engineering” since you list out most all of the other roles. or “for roles on the business teams, like Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product, and Customer Success”)? Program goals Share practical tips, guidance, and resources on a 1:1 basis on how to break into the tech world or how to succeed in tech for women who are interested in joining the tech world. Eventually, we will break this out into larger events where you can mix and mingle with mentors but for now, we'll beta this with 1 event and learn, iterate, and go from there.
