This is a Circle for women in the Sciences who are pursuing or interested in pursuing a research career. The goals of this Circle are the following: -Create an open environment for people to voice concerns they have about their research lab or workplace and seek advice and mentorship from more senior members on how to deal with these issues. -Particularly for undergraduates and graduates, to know what a good, healthy lab is like in order to be able to identify red flags and address them. -Share opportunities. If you have a lab opening or you know someone who does, or you’re in charge of a panel and you’re looking for speakers, etc. -Along those lines, mentor someone. Everyone has unique insights and skillsets no matter what stage you are in your career. Please reach out to others and share your knowledge.
We’re always looking for new members. Join today to be a part of Lean In’s global community.
Circles are small groups of women who come together—online or offline—for real talk and peer support.
We all need a safe space for real talk, inspiration, and support. Right now, we need community more than ever.
