It's all about the "What" and the "How." As physicians, we know the "What" and the "How;" we went to medical school and residency! However, when it comes to moving into leadership roles, while we still know the "What", we often find that the "How" that is required, is very different than we learned as physicians. The approaches that work so well for physicians are simply not fungible to the approaches needed for successful leadership. Time and again, the plans and proposals of skilled physicians don't "carry the day." This group will grapple with common scenarios (constructed and real) to learn the prime skills of leadership.
