Our mission

The mission of Philanthropists of Iowa is to unite, empower, and mobilize women across the state to lead advocacy and legislative efforts that create lasting, positive change in their communities. Through education, collaboration, and collective action, we work to influence policy, uplift underserved voices, and advance equity and opportunity—locally in Iowa and nationally across the United States.

About our Circle

  • Meets once a month
  • Looking for members

Philanthropists of Iowa is a dynamic circle of women and allies united by a shared passion for advocacy, legislative action, and meaningful community change. This group offers a space for women and allies to connect, collaborate, and champion policies that uplift families, promote equity, and strengthen communities—right here in Iowa and across the nation. Whether you’re an experienced advocate or just beginning to explore the power of your voice, Philanthropists of Iowa provides the tools, support, and friendship, to help you make an impact. Through regular gatherings, policy education, storytelling, and coordinated action campaigns, members support one another in driving forward initiatives that matter most to them—from food security and education access to child welfare and social justice. Together, we raise our voices louder, push for policy stronger, and build a better future—one bill, one conversation, and one woman at a time.

How it works

Circles are small groups of women who come together—online or offline—for real talk and peer support.

Why join a Circle?

We all need a safe space for real talk, inspiration, and support. Right now, we need community more than ever.
