We are small group of diverse women lawyers of varying generations and from diverse organizations participating in a professionally-facilitated workshop series (provided by GenLead through Ms. JD) in which we will work through Lean In. Participants will be encouraged to share their candid perspectives on the book and explain how their real-world experiences have shaped their views. Program Goals: 1. Book club members will: (1) Gain practical skills and insight by reading a professional development book with the facilitation of a leadership development coach; (2) Create the space in their busy lives for reflection among a supportive group of women; and (3) Learn from each other’s experiences and perspectives related to the book. 2. Through this small-group, multiple meeting structure, organic intergenerational relationships of mutual mentorship will develop, serving all of the participants for the long-term.
