Our mission
LeanInRVA will meet once a month to support each other and learn new skills. We will talk openly about our ambitions, tell our stories, and encourage each other to take on new challenges. Together, we will go further and make the world a more equal place.
This circle is designed to bring woman and men of all ages in the RVA area together to share, mentor, support, grow, and laugh. The central topic is how to LEAN IN and make the most out of your career, time, energy, etc. It's a place where we can share our issues and struggles and hear what others did in that situation. We believe in development across three areas - professional/career, personal, and community. We align all that we do to one of those areas. We are a diverse group... lawyers, teachers, IT geeks, life coaches, university coaches, artists, students, wealth managers, medical professionals, engineers, scientists, entrepreneurs, museum curators, explorers, adventurers, and on and on and on. We hold each other up and we challenge each other to go to new heights. It's time... Time to create a place in this city where we can support each other. Join us. You are all welcome.
