Lean In Circle

Wāhine Māori & Pasifika o Aotearoa

About our Circle

  • Meets twice monthly
  • Looking for members

Join us from late March 2021 for our first in-person circle meet up where our Kuki mamas will teach us how to sew the Cook Islands' quilt, the tivaevae. This beautiful vibrant, colourful Pasifika artform is our twist on the usual Lean In circle meeting format, returning our wāhine o Moana nui a Kiwa (women of the South Pacific) to the traditional way our mamas connect, share and support each other. Please email us for more details: kiaora@leaninwahine.org

How it works

Circles are small groups of women who come together—online or offline—for real talk and peer support.

Why join a Circle?

We all need a safe space for real talk, inspiration, and support. Right now, we need community more than ever.
