At Lean In Development (Bangkok), we unite women working in development including IOs, NGOs, Social Enterprise Executives, CRS professionals, government officials. While women in development industry/NGOs are the majority, represent 80 percent of the workforce, very few of us, 18 percent, excel in high pay positions. This looks bad.. If we were to work to defend others' rights, it is a good idea to start by defending our rights and equal pay in the industry. Therefore, uniting women in development is critical to both our passion to end suffering and inequality as well as our career progression to represent women at the top.
