Our mission
The goal of this LeanIn circle is to bring women of all ages together to build each other up, support one another, offer a voice for others when one is needed, and encourage women to dream big. Women can accomplish wonderful things if we support one another!
This circle is intended to discuss a wide variety of topics including sexual harassment in the workplace, women’s equal pay, and gender inequality issues. Research has determined that 40-60% of women experience harassment on the job. Why does it happen and what we can do about? Social progress depends on women noticing that something is wrong, deciding it is a problem, and believing that they have a personal responsibility to change things for the better. This circle is intended as a place for women to support each other and for women who need help finding their voice. We meet the first Wednesday of the month from 6 pm to 7 pm at the Downingtown Library - 122 Wallace Ave, Downingtown, PA 19335. The next meeting will be on Wednesday, October 3rd.
