We are professional women in different professions, different backgrounds, different faiths, races that are united by one thing...We are all in this together! Leading Women Book Club started with the notion that professional women would benefit from having an environment to discuss situations and issues about leadership and growth. The book club is the space for it! The goal isn't to add the stress of finishing the book, discussing all of it in details, etc but rather that the book is the starting off point and foundation for a larger discussion for the creation of a space to grow as a leader. The details: Four books a year, give or take - the book could be a traditional 'leadership' book or a 'wild card' book aka one that isn't necessarily a leadership book but will have situations, stories, etc where we can pull leadership nuggets. Meeting style - Happy hour and brunch. The first thirty minutes will be mix and mingle. Joining is easy! We have a Facebook group which is our main avenue of communications. Find us there!
