This is a circle of African American Nurses in Lafayette and surrounding areas who seek administrative roles in nursing. The goal is to develop resumes and interviewing techniques to empower our Nurses as many, as myself, have been denied this opportunity. The number of African American Nurses in administrative and supervisory roles is disproportionately low and it is not representative of the population we serve nor the number of African American Nurses in the workplace.
