WOMEN IN VENTURE CAPITAL/INVESTING (Greece) aims to support women founders and entrepreneurs secure the funding they need to grow and succeed, so we create a more equitable future for all. Women in Venture Capital, Angel Investors, other funding entities or women who aspire to a career in Investing are invited to join our Circle and support our mission. >>>>> WHY WE EXIST...some data > USA: All-female startups got 2.1% of VC funding in the US in Q1 2023 (-53% YoY) - - -Funding declined for startups with all-female founders due to economic volatility, rising recessionary fears, and geopolitical instability. * * * EUROPE: Startups with only female founders secured 1.6% of the total capital invested (+0.9% YoY). - - - European Women in VC founder Kinga Stanislawska thinks there is additional scope to increase funding. "Until AUM (Assets Under Management) is allocated to female and diverse asset managers on the VC level, we cannot expect much change for female-led and co-led startups”.
