About our Circle

  • Meets once a month
  • Looking for members

Government Gals provides a safe environment to work through career challenges and also encourage personal and professional growth. This group provides a support network for women in federal government to discuss their career challenges and opportunities. We are starting our second year as an active Lean In circle, and it is heartening to know there are so many women interested in federal leadership and supporting each other in developing the qualities we need to be successful. For interested ladies, we generally meet Monday evenings once a month in Washington D.C. The meetings usually last 2.5 hours and the hostess provides food and drinks and each person makes a $10 donation towards dinner. Attendance at our monthly meetings is critical to building our supportive network, and therefore we require that new members participate in a meeting within the first three months of joining the group.

How it works

Circles are small groups of women who come together—online or offline—for real talk and peer support.

Why join a Circle?

We all need a safe space for real talk, inspiration, and support. Right now, we need community more than ever.
