Our mission
Would love to revisit this with the group, but for starters the mission is to make new connections, gain and share wisdom and career lessons learned, and to encourage, support, and inspire each other. And to have fun doing it! : )
The LEAN (couldn’t add it as L.E.A.N) is for leadership, empowerment, accountability, and navigation. Members wanted who have an interest in meeting and connecting with other professionals who want to support and champion each other in navigating their careers and life in general. A circle for Xers (*very* loosely defined as those born between ’65 and ’80) or anyone of any age who identifies as finding deep meaning in The Breakfast Club or appreciates that GenX gave the world the rise of social media (you’re welcome? we’re sorry?), Jay Z, Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, Michelle Obama, and MTV back when it was cool. And while we’re talking about leaning in … Sheryl Sandberg = GenX. All that and we still don’t even get a mention in all those millennial vs boomer infographics.
