Generic Empower Lean In serves as a circle for women in Port Moresby. Our mission is to empower and inspire women to be bold, confident, and lean in to their greatest potential. We aim to build a supportive, inclusive, and dedicated community where all members are encouraged to play a part in creating a world of 50:50 gender equality. We’re all active participants in changing the way women are perceived in the workplace and in society. It seeks to create a space for conversations about gender bias and the leadership gap, and to empower more women to pursue leadership and also empower and inspire women from all walks of life from socially marginalized communities to leaders within Corporate, government organizations.. Generic Empower organizes speaker series, training's, and networking happy hours. It invites experts on everything from managing difficult conversations to writing op-eds and fiber optics to lead training's that arm Generic Empower members with specific tools to confront challenges in the workplace, as well as in life to take on roles as thought leaders, and feel empowered in their personal lives.
