About our Circle

  • Looking for members

Welcome to Fort Bragg Lean In Circle, one of many small peer-to-peer mentorship groups under The Department of Defense (DoD) Lean In Military Chapter. What can we expect? Our circle get together first Wednesday of each month during lunch hours between 1145-1245 (EST). Link-up location will take place on and off base, depending on room availability. Each Lean In session will be focused on one challenging topic with a guest speaker; preferably selected by a member. Exact location, topic, and guest speaker’s biography will be published on Fort Bragg Lean In Social Feed at least one week prior to the meeting. Discussion can be posted as a forum or via email to fort-bragg@leanincircles.org. Online members are welcome to share their thoughts, experiences and questions as well. Upcoming seminar events pertaining to various leadership topics around Fort Bragg, Raleigh, Durham, and The Triangle Community will be announced, when available. Outside activities might also be organized in the future, depending on the growth and interests of our Fort Bragg Lean In Circle. What is our purpose? To leverage a nonprofit organization founded by Facebook’s Chief Operating Officer (COO) Sheryl Sandberg and supported by The Department of Defense (DoD) on 21 September 2015. Our purpose is to enhance the Army’s #1 readiness priority by providing a network of support to all military personnel, civilian employees and spouses. A circle where ambitious leaders strive on learning and growing together. A venue away from work to share experiences and advices on overcoming professional challenges, confidentially. JOIN FORT BRAGG CIRCLE! Participation is free and resources are available online at leanin.org/military and other similar organization websites. Online-only participants are always welcome. By participating in the program, we are granting Fort Bragg Lean In Team permission to use photographic images of us on various social media websites to share with the community. We understand and respect your privacy, simply email Tuyen La at lapt.civ@gmail.com stating information you preferred not to be shared. We are encouraged to wear a Lean In shirt to the event but certainly not mandatory.
