It is the mission and purpose of Equality Studies Global Initiative to: (a) educate on human rights and gender equality via curriculum that should commence from the earliest possible entry of a young child into formal education; (b) give young people insights into international moral values and ethics as it relates to gender studies; (c) inform children and young people, and through them, parents and communities regarding gender equality; (d) create equal opportunity for and empowerment of girls; (e) utilize the documentary film “India’s Daughter” and other similar educational films to screen exemplary gender equality initiatives and current awareness work; (f) further promote the above objectives in such educational ways as ESGI's directors approve.
