About our Circle

  • Looking for members

Being a full-time mom and a full-time career woman is hard. Add in being a single parent household and it can be overwhelming. Love that Sheryl spoke to the fact that even with resources it is difficult. Without them, it can be near impossible to navigate and keep up your confidence and motivation. Lets Lean In and work together to build each other up! This circle is for single moms that are also trying to have an impactful career. I live in the North Shore Suburbs but am willing to meet wherever the best concentration of participants is and/or online if that works better. When I became a single mom I was a VP at a large retail corporation (I specialize in food innovation leadership). My daughter had major health problems and was in and out of the hospital, and my son veered off track when my husband exited, his future was in jeopardy. I tried changing jobs in the midst of that and my new role did not take. My family of 3 moved back to greater Chicago and struggled to get back on track. Could have used a group like this when I was in the midst of those challenges. After a good consulting run I am back in the game. With hard work, miracles, and leadership my son is now in college and my daughters health has turned the corner. Looking for a job again but coming from a much stronger place. Am grateful to have made it through the darkest days. Rejection and juggling everything at home with finances and time management and other challenges can be so overwhelming. So glad to be back on track feeling renewed passion & purpose. Would love to help others navigate these choppy waters. Let's Lean In together and THRIVE!

How it works

Circles are small groups of women who come together—online or offline—for real talk and peer support.

Why join a Circle?

We all need a safe space for real talk, inspiration, and support. Right now, we need community more than ever.
