A Southampton circle founded by Julie Sammons to capitalise on some of the great empowering networks that women build organically. We meet up monthly to grow new skills and debate research-based recommendations for advancing gender equality at home and at work. Members can talk openly about their ambitions and we encourage each other to take on new challenges. We discuss the are hurdles that only women have to negotiate and others that affect women more than or differently to men - maternity leave, return to work, part time working, redundancy, commuting, working away from home, elder care and family bereavement. At the end of each meeting each member takes away one action to work on for themselves and up date on at the next meeting or our supper club. Our circle is evolving and we will build it together.
We’re always looking for new members. Join today to be a part of Lean In’s global community.
Circles are small groups of women who come together—online or offline—for real talk and peer support.
We all need a safe space for real talk, inspiration, and support. Right now, we need community more than ever.
