Hi! Did you ever ask you: ***** How to (sometimes) deal with your imposter syndrome?! ***** How to enhance motivation and set productive goals? ***** How to manage stress and achieve peek performance? ***** How to improve processes? ***** How to negotiate? ***** What is - actually - your dream job? ***** How you get your dream job? ***** How to create opportunities at work? ***** How to deal with frustrated, sexist, - fill the blank - colleagues? ***** How to gain insights from your data? ***** How to market products/ What is a good multichannel strategy? ***** and whether/in which situations/how to use self-marketing to market yourself in an authentical way to get to the top? ***** How to deal with life/work balance? .... I do. I just started my professional career a couple months ago, and I noticed that reading business & career-coaching books is helping me in a huge way in order to get a more precise grasp at what I want from my job, and how to get there. & what helps even more is to discuss such books and topics with others, to hear from others' stories about how one indeed did deal with answering one of the questions above. Hence: Let's meet with each others once a month to discuss a business or career-coaching book. Let's support each others, and each others' career by sharing tips, stories, challenges, solutions, intersting books, you name it. Here are a couple of books we could start with: - Presence, Amy Cuddy - Life as sport, Jonathan Fader - 7 habits of highly efficient people, Stephen R. Covey - Psycho-cybernetics, Maxwell Maltz - Getting to yes, Roger Fisher and William Ury -The innovator's dilemma, Clayton M. Christensen - Who says Elephant can't dance? - Spin Selling, Neil Rackhamn Here is the doodle for our first meeting, in which we will pick our first book for March: http://doodle.com/poll/re6bcyt6s4p2xdug Feel free to bring books you would like to discuss in March, or ideas and topics. Let's pick together our first book then. See you in 2 weeks, Cheers, Cécile
