This is a circle for women designers working in related disciplines in the built environment to connect and share tips and strategies to build pathways to leadership positions and effect change and provide mentorship for emerging professionals. There is no fixed agenda for the circle except that we can start to see Building Leaders as a safe space for discussing issues concerning leadership, including how we define leadership, where we see ourselves as leaders, and where we want to get to. Hopefully, with time we can build trust and support for our members and be there for each other as inspiration and mentors. With increasing membership, it will become a space for networking with the right people too. Note: The profile photo is of Urmila Eulie Chowdhury that Wikipedia identifies as the "first woman to qualify as an architect in Asia." I use this photo to honour my Indian heritage.
We’re always looking for new members. Join today to be a part of Lean In’s global community.
Circles are small groups of women who come together—online or offline—for real talk and peer support.
We all need a safe space for real talk, inspiration, and support. Right now, we need community more than ever.
