Lean in is a place where tradeswomen and women affiliated with the construction industry can find the support necessary to succeed in this field. We as members are able to network, learn of job opportunities, give and receive advice, and be encouraged in our prospective trades and career aspirations. The objective of Lean In is to help raise awareness of tradeswoman within the media and public. Less than 3% of women in the US are employed as construction workers though women are over half the population. We can increase those numbers by being visible and participating in spaces like this. There is strength and power in our membership but only if we choose to make our voices heard. Step in and step up to Lean in Circle; the place where sisterhood is just the beginning.
